It was the event of the year this weekend - our PLEDGE RETREAT!
What can get more fun than a big group of girls hanging out at Jane's house - and staying awake until the early hours of the morning? I would say that there isn't all that much that is better than that!
So basically what we did was dance! We played Just Dance and got our groove on! We were shaking our little behinds with such talent - we should join one of those dancing shows - can you see it now? The Epsilon Girls on Live to Dance? I can because basically we rocked it!
After Just Dance we broke out the Zumba DVD - Jane is pretty stinking good at it! She put us all to shame with her sick Zumba moves!
Do you have pictures from this night? I hope you do because I want to see them - e-mail them to epsilongirls@yahoo.com and I will post them up on our blog!
Love ya girlies!

Date Night
It was an epic Battle of the Sexes this weekend, who won? Well let's be honest, it doesn't really matter because we all had fun! (But let's say the girls won).
There were many fun and interesting activities - the boys had to put on make-up (some were lame and didn't! - including my date who I couldn't get him to do it even if I bribed him) and the girls had to race to see who could tie the best looking tie. The eating contest was . . . well it was gross!!! Maple syrup, goldfish, broccoli and more - all at the finger tips of our dates!
All in all I would say that it was a pretty good night! Who knew that competing against your date could be so much fun?

Heart Attack
Natasha had to get surgery on her nose so we decided to bring her a little Valentine's Day spirit and heart attack her. We cut out some hearts and set out to surprise her with a house covered in hearts . . . but she caught us! Maybe we will have better luck next time!
These are the only pictures I was able to get before we had to throw our hearts and run!

A Sister in Need
Hey Ladies!
Just wanted to let you know that our lovely Natasha had to get nose surgery on Monday. She went sledding with her brother a few months ago and broke her nose and needed surgery to get it fixed. As of right now she is doing good but you should all keep her in your prayers!

80's Workout
Good ol' Richard Simmons . . . boy can he conduct a workout!
In case you weren't aware we did an 80's workout exchange with NU! And it was actually a blast. We sweated off some pounds and looked fabulous doing so! Side ponies and cut off sweatshirts and all - we had fun.
Here are a few pictures of our evening -

Spring Semester 2011
Here we are, about to embark upon the new semester of 2011 and we have some amazing new pledges and amazing actives and some pretty amazing officers. Oh and then there is Jane, who is just amazing! We are so lucky to have as many amazing people as we have!
So here is a quick recap of RUSH! It went pretty much perfectly in my humble opinion. I am just going to put it out there and say that we had the best backdrop and even the best skit.
But let's talk about that skit. The lovely Miss Brittney was able to come up with a super fun song and dance that everyone loved! We had the audience laughing - and it was in a good way not in a "they look like total idiots" way. Here's the thing though, I totally messed up the beautiful choreography by turning around to early, sorry B! Boy did I feel dumb when I completed my little spin and then everyone else did their spins at exactly the same time while I just stood there looking at the audience. Oh well - we still got pledges despite the fact that some of us can't remember the dance!
This semester is going to be the best semester ever! I can't wait for the fun activities that we have planned - there are some pretty epic ones and I think that we are going to have more fun that any other sorority this year! And all the boys will just be wanting to do stuff with us because we are just so awesome!
